Employment

Each employee is entitled to fair salary, safety and public health at work, health care, protection of personal integrity and other rights in the event of illness, decrease or loss of working ability, material security during temporary unemployment, and the right to other forms of protection, in accordance with the law.

Employees under 18 years old and disabled employees are entitled to special protection. A person seeking employment, as well as an employee, cannot be given a disadvantage compared to others, regardless of gender, language, race, national origin, religion, marital status, family responsibilities, political or other opinion, property ownership, membership in political organizations, unions or any other personal characteristic.

An employee shall notify the employer, before the work contract, about his/her health condition or other circumstances that could affect the performance of his/her duties or could threaten a life or health of others.
